\nAccording to sources familiar with the matter, both Qatar and the United Arab Emirates are rapidly working to enhance their air defense capabilities. Doha has reportedly requested assistance in countering drone attacks, while Abu Dhabi has asked its allies for support in strengthening medium-range air defense systems.
\nThis disclosure comes amid unprecedented regional escalation, as the United States and Israel have been carrying out strikes against Iranian targets since February 28. In response, Tehran has launched missile and drone attacks targeting U.S. bases in the region, placing Gulf air defense systems under significant pressure.
\nMeanwhile, Secretary of Iran\u2019s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, stated that Tehran does not intend to attack countries in the region, but rather targets U.S. bases which it considers \u201cAmerican territory,\u201d warning that attacks will continue as long as those bases remain under Washington\u2019s control.
