Prince Hassan conveys Christmas greetings

Whaj 24 – AMMAN — HRH Prince Hassan, chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Institute For Inter Faith Studies (RIIFS), greeted Christians in Jordan on the occasion of Christmas.

During his meeting with Christian clergy, Prince Hassan recalled his recent meeting with Pope Francis, during which he discussed an initiative launched by the Pope, titled “Reconstruction of the Global Educational Agreement”, expected in May, the Jordan News Agency, Petra , reported.

The prince stressed the importance of developing a comparative index of meanings and values, accompanied by enhancing the capabilities of teachers and educators.

Touching on the refugee crisis, the prince highlighted the importance of efficiency in handling the exodus rather than addressing refugees as mere numbers provided in international reports, according to Petra.

The meeting also discussed the importance of Eastern Christianity and  developing and promoting Christian pilgrimage in Jordan.
