King Receives 47 Phone Calls from World Leaders and Heads of Government

His Majesty King Abdullah II has received 47 phone calls from world leaders and heads of government from Arab and foreign countries since the escalation in the Middle East began.
These calls come within the framework of the ongoing Jordanian diplomatic and political efforts led by His Majesty the King amid the continued Iranian attacks on Jordan and Arab countries.
During these calls with leaders and heads of governments from Arab and foreign nations, His Majesty affirmed Jordan’s rejection of the attacks on Jordan and other Arab states, describing them as a dangerous escalation and a violation of international law.
His Majesty stressed that Jordan will continue taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of its citizens and to protect the security and sovereignty of the Kingdom.
At the same time, His Majesty called for intensified international efforts to de-escalate tensions, respect the sovereignty of states, and reach a comprehensive calm.
