After Saudi Arabia and Qatar, Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa has arrived in the United Arab Emirates on an official visit

Middle East News Network: Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa and his accompanying delegation arrived on Wednesday in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, for an official visit during which he is scheduled to meet UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Syrian Arab News Agency reported that al-Sharaa and Mohammed bin Zayed will discuss regional developments and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.


Al-Sharaa began a Gulf tour on Tuesday with a visit to Saudi Arabia, where he met Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The two discussed expanding economic and investment partnerships, as well as regional and international developments and their impact on regional security.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Syrian president met the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in Doha. Both sides emphasized the importance of bilateral relations and their development across various sectors.
Al-Sharaa also reaffirmed Syria’s solidarity with Arab countries that have been subjected to Iranian attacks. The meeting further addressed the latest regional and international developments and ways to coordinate efforts to preserve regional security and stability.
