I Can Prolong the Battle with Iran and Control Everything — or End It Within Days

Middle East News Network:
U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that he has “many exit points from the battle with Iran,” noting that he could either “make it long and control everything, or end it within a few days.”
In statements to Israel’s Channel 12, Trump said:
“The Iranians came close to a deal and then backed away — came close and then backed away. I understood from that that they do not really want a deal.”
He added:
“I had a good conversation with Bibi (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu)… we are on the same wavelength.”
Trump continued:
“I have many exit points from this battle; I can make it long and control everything, or end it within days and tell the Iranians we will meet again in a few years if you start rebuilding. In any case, it will take them years to recover from this attack,” according to his remarks.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi informed the United Nations Security Council and the United Nations on Saturday that Iran considers all American and Israeli bases, facilities, and assets in the region to be “legitimate military targets.”
A well-informed source told the Mehr News Agency that a new wave of missile and drone attacks by the armed forces has begun as of tonight, focusing on targeting secret Mossad headquarters and U.S. military personnel.
The source added:
“Accordingly, residents of the region — especially in Gulf countries — should stay away from centers and residences of American and Israeli military personnel.”
The spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, also confirmed that “the powerful operations of the armed forces will continue with greater intensity,” in response to what Iran described as the U.S.-Israeli aggression against the country.
He announced that “vital, security, and military centers” in Israel, as well as 14 American bases, had been targeted.
